Our designer, Marlys Wiegand, has been an expert in textiles & draperies for over 30 years, and founder Jens Wiegand grew up in a European family with a textile business and has a deep appreciation for beautiful fabrics. Meet Your Guides
Marlys Wiegand – Window Fashion Designer
Raised in the peaceful Midwest, Marlys discovered her love for decorating, fine arts, and nature at an early age. After graduating with a BA in interior design, she moved to the Southwest and later to the Pacific Northwest.
Once here, she started Adrette with her husband, Jens, assisting homeowners, interior designers, architects, builders, and contractors with exquisite custom window treatments and fabric creations. For Marlys, listening is critical to helping clients achieve their dream homes.
When not designing window coverings or searching for the perfect textiles, she likes to grow delicious tomatoes, veggies, and berries in her garden and fish, hike, and camp in the Northwest’s great outdoors. That’s where she recharges her creative energy and her zest for life.

While Jens grew up in a European family surrounded by textiles, fashion, and design, he followed his dream to become a professional pilot and flight instructor in North America. However, once he met Marlys in Oregon and fell in love, they started a new chapter together.
At Adrette, he manages operations, ensuring everything happens in a timely fashion, and our clients are satisfied. Jens firmly believes everyone deserves a clean, natural environment for living and sleeping. He is an advanced student of Building Biology, the art & science of creating healthy indoor environments.
Jens is also passionate about using organic textiles whenever possible, building intentional communities, and growing bio-dynamic food and organic fruit trees. In addition, he and Marlys love hiking and camping in nature and spending time with family and friends.
