Working with Adrette Designs
We’re here to help you every step of the way. At Adrette, we work closely with homeowners throughout the entire design process – from our initial meeting to the final installation, we will be there to ensure everything fits properly and exceeds your expectations.
Here’s what you can look forward to when working with us:
Initial phone conversation.
We’ll talk with you on the phone to understand if you already have a vision or are ready for our professional guidance. Next, we’ll establish the scope of your project and determine your style and color preferences. We’ll also explain how we work, answer your questions and determine the next step.
In-Home Meeting / Consultation
In case you live in Portland, we may agree upon a brief meeting to get acquainted, walk through your home, focus on the areas that we’ll be working on, and talk about your ideas.
Or, you may be ready to get started on your project, and we’ll meet for the consultation. Based on the information you’ve given us on the phone, we’ll bring fabric-, shade-, trim-, or hardware samples. Seeing full-size samples in your home helps you visualize what your new custom window treatments are going to look like and make your decision easier.
Once our search for additional fabrics or accessories is complete, we’ll present them to you and any new design details. Oftentimes, we’ll make sketches or drawings to illustrate the final concept.
Create and fabricate.
Once you approve of the design and fabric selections, we’ll order materials, and then our local artisans will, with great care, begin the creation of your special order. We’ll keep you updated on our progress, striving for “only good surprises” on installation day.
At the installation, we oversee in person that everything is going just as planned, and the last bit of pressing or steaming is done to make your new window fashions look just the way you imagined them in your mind.
Congratulations, enjoy your gorgeous home and all the compliments you’ll be receiving from friends and family.
