At Adrette, we believe “longevity is sustainability” in all aspects of life.

We offer you choices – whether you want “green fabrics” or not, and we believe in making the best quality products that you can enjoy for many years.

Our custom window coverings are fabricated with the highest level of craftsmanship, using “first quality” textiles.  They will not only give your home a great look, but at the same time they can insulate your windows, help you save money on your utility bill, and even absorb sound.

For clients with chemical sensitivities, or those who are looking for eco-friendly products, we offer draperies, shades, valances, and bedding made from sustainably-produced, organic fabrics.

The Blueberry drapery panels in the above video by Adrette are made from 100% Organic hemp fabric, which has a beautiful soft hand.

Three rows of horizontal pleating add interest to this vibrant blue fabric, and it is lined with our organic lining.

Being an organic textile means not only that a fabric has organically grown fibers in the yarn, but every step of the production process has been certified eco-friendly.

We have an actual biography on each of our organic textiles, so we know where the fibers were grown.

In this case they were grown by independent Romanian farmers who use no pesticides, fungicides or synthetic fertilizers.  By supporting these and other small farmers, we’re helping to protect the earth, are keeping traditional old-world methods alive, and avoid the use of chemicals.

The natural dyes that were used meet European Union and Global Organic Textile Standards.

Adrette also sources a selection of hand-woven shades, made without chemicals, from rapidly renewable plants and grasses that will not deplete the soil nor add to soil erosion.
