Our Specialists and Founders
Marlys Wiegand, Interior Designer Allied ASID
Marlys, born in Northern Iowa, completed her Bachelor's degree of Arts and Interior Design after working years in the window covering field. She then created and managed the window covering departments for an Interior Design company in Phoenix, Arizona, and for a high-end Furniture store in the Portland area. Marlys has more than 25 years of design experience and is our lead Interior Designer and Window Fashion Specialist. She started Adrette Designs with her husband Jens to better assist clients and interior designers with beautiful custom window fashions, luxury bedding and furniture upholstery projects. Through her association with the American Society of Interior Designers, Marlys keeps up with new products, design and color trends.
Jens 'Jay' Wiegand, President
Adrette's President and Service Specialist was born in Northern Germany. Jens worked in banking and sales and moved to the United States in 1989 to become a career pilot and flight instructor. Raised in a family business with a fashion and apparel store, Jens is no stranger to fabrics, fashion and design. He and Marlys firmly believe in lifelong education and attend seminars and trade shows in the Americas and Europe to keep abreast of new products and changes in the window fashion industry.
